Was time to upgrade
Bought these to replace old style narrow straps and they did the job bringing old poles to new tech. Did need to purchase 2 sizes up from what I thought I needed.

I Needed to Upsize
The 5-stars are for the straps when they are the correct size. I'm 6-1 and with non-beefy build. The "Large" straps that came with my 160 Swix poles are not for large hands and maybe not even for medium hands. My palm measures about 7 1/2 inches. Add a Swix ski glove and that increases to 9 1/2 inches and the Swix "Large" strap is too short. The Xtra-Large does the job and I possibly could have used XXL. You'd think that Swix would know from the pole length what the correct size strap to include.

Swix Pro Fit 3D Straps
I used the sizing chart on the SWIX website and picked the L as I was well in that range, they seem to work okay. I usually wear XL gloves. If I were to do it again, I'd go with the XL. The L fits using my ski gloves, but the velcro only overlaps about 2" (5 cm), this might not last the longest or may not fit a glove with more insulation. I can't give this 4 stars as they work, are comfortable and seem to be well built.
